Style Inspiration

I know this top image reflects my style better (I do LOVE it) but there's a 70's coolness about the second image that is so loungey and bit more masculine that I love. But the room would be nothin' without that gold lamp!

I really want a 'coffee table' like the one in the top picture. But I need fancier furniture in order to pull that off.
